The sellers user ID is: ithinkim She currently has a ton of fancy stems .... 25 starting at $25. I ordered some from JHLOWE here a few weeks ago. they are nice. but the ones I ordered ended up having the hole at the very tip of the bit.... instead of seated on top. Oh well. they are still nice stems.

I've gotten to the point where i have made my chamber drilling a 5 step process............ I use a drill press. I have a standard 3/8 bit that I mark with masking tape to keep it 1/8 inch off where my finished out bottom would be...... then I have Forstner bits marked with tape as well.... 1/2........

I personally think walnut is more pretty than it is strong. I make rifle stocks and pistol grips as well .. and I use walnut for that.... Thing about walnut is it splits easily along the grain.....
