I see, Thanks. Yea, it definitely makes sense for that to be that way too. It gives a little more curvy features and looks much better.

So are you meaning to chunk the shank up and make the curve flow from the bottom of the bowl up into the shank? Just so I'm clear. Thank you, btw.

I very recently purchased a shitty lathe from harbor freight. Its the 14" x 40" with the 7" disc sander. I am curious if I can put a drill chuck on this thing. It looks like the live center is not removable. Does anyone have one of these pieces of crap that can please give me some sug...

I worked on this pipe for quite a while to find that the damn shank was rotted out. To all that have had this happen, I'm sure everyone, this is the definition of true anger. I just want some critique on my egg shape.
