Re: Delrin tenon failure avoidance
If only we could just somehow cut the tenon from the same material as the stem.... My thoughts exactly! I sure hope one of you guys figures it out and shares it with the rest of us. All this glueing and threading and drying and cross-hatching just so George can repair your shitty Delrin tenon. Ther...

Re: First Freehand
What you guys are not getting is that they are helping, you just cant understand what they are saying as you are not used to not having everything given easy. This was said before, there is not a teacher here been paid and you are asking the best to talk about your freehand pipe. I did the same and ...

Re: Dumb Questions About Plateaus
Look for pipes made from the respected guys here and I am sure you will see the difference. ( Talking about high grade pipes) .
The lines look like hand made sometimes.
( This is my opinion and is just to illustrate the difference) .

Massis, may i ask how it goes about when smoking?
I like to have the heat feeling the bowl gives when smoking to control my pace. How does that goes with the resin?
I know it is not about the looks .... Tks

Re: Sanity check critique desired (thanks in advance)
Let me share a story, I live in Brazil, where 200us is like 1000us for you guys. ( Our economy sucks). I went to Canada, and bought 1 pipe that had flaws from a montreal company, but it was cheap for a canadian and damm expensive to me. Few days latter, after trying that pipe, went back and got me a...

Re: Just Accidentally Sold my First Pipe
My pipes are 1000 times worse than that And i am giving them for free and people are loving it. I am not aiming to be a seller but i will be honest, if i can make a pipe like you did i would sell it. First, it took you time and money to get it done. With that you will be able to get more supplies, m...

Pin chucked up in a cordless drill and then run by eye against the belt grinder? https://s26.postimg.org/r6opqo37d/winner-picture.jpg . Exactly so. A bizarre enough solution that I thought it worth mentioning here. It was also fast. Adjustable speed from a crawl to 7000 fpm + infinite gri...

Re: Second completed Pipe. Blasted Billiard.
I generally cut my tobacco chambers undersized and enlarge them with sandpaper wrapped around a dowel. The dowel has a piece of lag bolt shank screwed into the end, and is then shaped on the lathe with the lag bolt shank chucked in. I then slit the dowel with a saw to hold the paper. 40 grit center...
