if you dont give the pipe a name you can make it any size you like. I carved some goofy looking pipes. THe one I thought was just stupid turned out to be the first one I sold. My boss loved it and I thought it looked like an upside down elf hat. He thought it was awesome.

You could cut off the damaged part and attach another piece of wood or horn or something. I like that style

I would finish it and offer it as a flawed pipe on ebay. Some find the surface flaws a nice bit of character. Offer to give a small percentage to a charity. I need to enlarge a hole in a briar stumell shank from 1/8 to 1/4. How do I keep the hole centered? Is there a special drill bit?

Basically the draft hole is drilled and centered but I need to enlarge the hole for a stem to fit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cody
