yes bob it is good advice I have made a few more classic shapes but it has been hard to do so far. But I recently bought a lathe and a band saw so Im hoping to be able to make leaps and bounds. thanks for looking

thanks yeti, although this is not my first pipe. I have been making pipes on a very small production level on and off for about 10 years. I wont post a pic of my first pipe on here as it is pretty bad.... made with a whittling knife and some files. I posted some pics of some earlier pipes on here ye...

here is a pipe I made and sold last year. I was pretty happy about it. have been slow on pipe making for awhile but just bought a lathe and bandsaw and looking to get more serious about it.

do you guys think that this would work to turn a stem on? i have a pimo tenon turner and a drill press but i do not hav e alath to do any stem design. what do you guys think?

the one one the bottom is alittle big for a clencher for sure. it isnt too heavy buit not somthing you would want to walk around for more the a few mins in your mouth with. more a of a relaxing around the house pipe. the other too would make it ok clenched in the mouth. if i every get sandblasting e...

thanks guys. yeah i would agree that my work has organice undertones. i work in pottery and ceramics as well and the same has been said of that work. it would be an interesting experiment to expose one to the elments and see what happens. not sure i f i am ready to do that to one of my pices yet tho...

thanks guys, yes that is the burr of an antler on the stem. i havent smoked it yet. not sure if i will, i think i might do alittle last miniute finishing and hold on to it so sell in the future. thanks for looking and tou comments i really appriciate it
