Re: My Apologies To All On The Forum

If its any consolation Chris, I nearly made the same decision a while back. I just didn't post it here. This forum is not very active, and many times a post we believe should get attention doesn't. No one means anything by it, its just the few who read your post don't feel they have anything constru...

Aduis number 11 Brandy, serial TS11A

So feel free to comment, but since I know my pictures suck I'll understand if no one does. I already know my button is way too thin, but this was the third or fourth stem blank and it fits so well that I just went with it. https://i.imgur.com/72DRCggm.jpg https://i.imgur.com/lvluBXnm.jpg https://i.i...

Re: number of blocks in stock

Small time hobbyist here. I purchase no more than 4 at a time and wait till Im down to 1 to buy more. Once my work is good enough to sell regularly I might use that to buy more at once.

Here's my submission. My first ever Bulldog. The shank is a bit thick I think, but its a decent pipe that will be a good smoker.

I get that, and I wasn't suggesting taking on more than one at a time. You have a life too. I just know I've found it tremendously helpful for me, and hoped you guys who run / started this board might consider it for others.

You set the hours, and the pay is the satisfaction of watching a n00b become a competent carver.. So you decide if that is holiday pay or not :p

Mentoring? A suggestion for the experienced carvers.

Those of you who have been doing this for some time, Find the time to take one of us new guys and mentor them. I have a mentor from another site who has taught me more in the two months he's worked with me than I would have learned in a year or more alone, even with this board as a reference. The wa...
