See the hawaii'n behind her? That's Jaden Hew-Len (jhl808 on this site). He and I shared a table behind Nanna.
I wondered if that was Jaden!

Did it help or hurt business? It would be difficult to concentrate on selling pipes! LOL!

@Frank--I'm checking ticket prices now!

<SNIP>... I've been inspired by elements in other pipe maker's work. Creation does not happen in a vacuum. <SNIP> Exactly... I used to have pictures of pipes that I like on the walls in my shop. Not anymore, I took them down, everyone of them. In fact I make it a point not to have any pictures of p...

I think you should be annoyed... And I'll also say that I have copied in the past--out of ignorance. I sent some pictures of my work to Larry Roush and he responded "Ok, where's YOUR work--I see Ivarsson and Wolfgang Becker but I don't see David Brooks". That stung but I'll be forever grat...

Boy Dave, you're setting the bar pretty high. Nice pipe :thumb: Best Regards, Steve Thanks Steve--I just want someone to have a nice pipe--I let the slot get a little tall on this one so the bit ended up thicker than I wanted so whoever gets it may not like it anyway (I think it's like .180 or so) ...

Dave, It's actually a members/invitation only board, so that's not really possible. Suffice it to say that he either knows what he's talking about, or is a raving lunatic who by chance happened to string together BS giving it the appearance of coherence. :) JG Thanks Jeff, Dave--who dreams of somed...

It came out great Nick--definetly worth the stem Oddyesee. I had one like that awhile back that laid on my bench for months however, not a happy ending.
