I did everything with a dremel, pocketknife, and sandpaper, and glued it with CA. Worked great, smokes like a champ. I'd include a pic if I could figure how to upload and insert.

I don't expect perfection, but I also don't want my first pipe to crack six months down the road just because I used an unseasoned block. Thanks for the advice on the lower quality blocks.
