Dye in Chamber
I had a mishap last night and got a considerable amount of dye in the chamber. I tried cleaning it out as much as I could with alcohol and it faded a bit. Will I be able to sand this out? Will it be safe to smoke if some residual dye is still in there? This pipe is for my cousin, so I'm sure he won'...

Sanding pad
I'm trying to find a hook and loop sanding pad that will fit my Beall arbor, can't seam to find one anywhere. Anyone else run into a similar problem and find a solution? Tia

Thanks y'all. I guess I'll find out when he gets it. I drilled 8.5 mm most of the way with a 5/16 at the bottom divot to grab the filter. I'm considering having him pay me when he gets it to avoid confrontation.

9mm filter drill bit
Question! I'm making a pipe for a guy in Germany who says his 9mm filters are exactly 9mm. I bought the same pack and they are 7.8mm on average. Should I go with an 8.5mm bit or 3/8s which is slightly bigger than 9mm? TIA!!!

Thanks! In the process of converting my four jaw chuck to turn stummels. Lots of learning to be done, but that's part of the fun!

Thanks Walt. My issue at the moment is setting up a chuck for turning the stummel. I think I need a nova chuck (I bought the jaws from Vermont freehand) I'm just having trouble finding an adapter to fit my m39 x 4 spindle to the one inch Nova chuck. I thought I could just put them on the 4 jaw Chuck...
