Re: #1213

I think it's a good looking pipe. Nice grain. Like the extension and the stem work. However, I also think that the huge gap between stem and shank takes everything away from it. Distracts from the beauty that would be the pipe.

Re: Critics admited!

i think both pipes are awesome. furthermore i think the little gold nut in the stem idea is brilliant and looks cool too! i think you should keep and continue that idea as your own personal trademark feature.

Re: Billiard - First Rustication Attempt

I too love this pipe! The rustification, well, granted it's not like most I've seen, but to be honest I think it looks pretty cool. Not sure I'd want all my rusticated pipes to look like that, but I think it works on this pipe. Just my humble opinion of course. Can't help but wonder how you did it t...

I'm just curious, are we ever going to see the entries of this contest? Or have I somehow missed them?

He's an evil genius. I'm fairly certain that he hasn't even scratched the surface of the "weird" shapes world yet. :)

Great pipe, btw.

Re: Last of the swirl

It's a nice pipe. However, the bowl has a lump on the back and a flat spot on the front. Would look a lot nicer if they both matched. The shank strikes me as a bit on the plump side as well.

I was wondering about the lichen too. Looks neat and all, but if you heat it up, is it toxic?

Ozzy. I like the old stuff. Dio's fine in his own right, but Sabbath to me is brutal riffs and high, wailing lyrics about life, the universe, and everything. It's impossible not to sing along at some point through Master of Reality. "You think you're master of the world where you exist..... Th...

I think it's a very nice looking pipe. I do agree with the previous statements about the stem though.

Re: Honest Opinion

I think it looks awesome.

However that one bottom view image makes it look like something is a bit off. It appears to lean to the left a bit. Maybe it's just the pic though.

I would tend to think it looks like a dublin.

Apple Wood

Has anyone worked with apple wood? If so, my question is, does it finish any better than cherrywood does? Giving a nice smooth, shiny finish like briar does? Or is it the same dull finish? I have at least one, perhaps more, workable blocks of it, was wondering what direction to take with it. Plan sm...

Beautiful pipe!

I might have put a touch more bend on the stem, but still, far superior to anything I've ever accomplished.
