Re: Oom Paul Competition
Haven't been on here in a bit and haven't made a pipe in awhile. In fact, I've only made one pipe, a lovat. Haven't even attempted a second pipe --much less a bent pipe. I'm in. I'm thinking I'll make a crazy tall, Boer War kind of Oom Paul. I love those! What the hell? Let's go for broke. Also, sho...

Re: Freehand with Inlay Shank Extension
That's a nice pipe. The stem could have maybe been a tad longer but I think it still works. And, yeah, really great extension! Reminds me of a fancy rifle. Nice work!

Re: Chubby freehand with horn
This pipe reminds me of a vintage Bjarne pipe a friend of mine has: huge, round bowl with a pencil thin shank. It's not a pipe I'd think I would have liked before he showed it to me but, man, when I saw it, all I could say was, "That's a beautiful pipe!" Well, this one is MUCH nicer than t...

Re: Kinda cool...
I second the Sasser, Bill (except the green part--everyone knows that a green pipe is, in fact, an instant masterpiece--sorry, Yeti). Pipes are like women, man (are you ready for this?): Not all women have to be "the one." Some are just good smokers! (sigh, I cracks myself up...Is it...

Re: No gaudy colours any more ...
Fine, Walle, I did not want to like your pipes. In fact, I thought they were downright crazy (especially for a German--you guys are all supposed to be about making sense), but, fine....I submit :notworthy: Those are some of the coolest pipes I've seen EVER! I want like, eight of them! Is this from t...

Re: Walle-Kiss My Redneck Ass!
Wow! I wanna' ask how you did that but I don't even know where to begin. If Jimi Hendrix smoked a pipe (and he probably did, but not this kind), this would have his name written all over it. Really unique. Would love to see some more pics of that stem.

Re: My First Rustication
Nice work, TA,
Looks like you got a nice, even texture on there, which, for me, seems to be the hardest thing to do when I'm rusticating.
Nice job.

Very classic and elegant looking but without being ostentatious. I can't think of anything more fitting for a priest. As always, very nice work.

These are two really nicely shaped pipes and I'm sure they will go fast (here, or in Vegas).
Re: Horn
That's a really nice pipe. Curious to find out what you don't like about it.
Also, did you bend the stem slightly or did you shape it that way?

Re: Fresh meat! Nautilus nose warmer and a variation
You know, I hear there's a market (especially here in "Amerrka") for BIG pipes. I think this is the biggest pipe I've seen. Ever.
Seriously, though, would love to see a more "human-sized" version of this. Looks interesting.
