Yeah 30.00 plus 3.00 for shipping I like the way his pipes smoke so in theory it will smoke as good as his pipes he sells.Boekweg wrote:How much are you paying for your pipe kit? the only one i saw on that site (norwoods pipe repair) was like $30.00

I went with an light stain so you can see some of the ok grain. Thanks for commenting. I think is gonna be a long road for me but, I'm sure liking it so far even though My pipes come out not so good haha

2nd pipe kit
Here is my second pipe came out kinda messed up my fault/wood bubbles. It had alot of imperfections which ended up teaching me alot about wood. I figured I would finish it anyways. Also decided to leave a couple of the chisel marks. Its an block from Norwoods Pipe Repair. Definitely not an cheap hob...

I think you will really like it I'm currently working on another (Pre drilled block from Norwoods Pipe Repair). I have also learned about imperfections in the wood Which is an major downside to this hobby.

First Kit Pipe
Heres my first kit pipe. I still have a couple things to sand/buff and its almost done. I'm also waiting for the carnuba wax I ordered to get here... What do you think? So I can clean it with denatured alcohol inside the bowl and use sandpaper and bring it back to wood color inside the bowl then after all that say use bourbon to sweeten it and its ok to smoke?

I meant to say as like I started to break in the bowl before so it was kinda dark. I shaped it and it had all the wood dust and...
