I am only writing as a pipe smoker with some idea of what he likes in art and pipes.

My only criticism of it, I dont care for the wire brush rustication.
Everything else about the pipe is so elegant, the wire rustication seems too simple.
Maybe there is just so much of it on the pipe, but I would prefer to see a different technique and a different look to those areas.

Thats been my experience on the few good lathes I've found.

The only critique I have is the picture of the front of the bowl, where it appears the two sides are not even.

Awesome man. I would think you can make the tobacco much better with some work and casing, but I wouldnt have the faintest clue how to go about it.
