I presently have 2- 11/16 radius bottom, 1-3/4 tapered, and 1-13/16 radius. In the original order they were all tapered so I altered three of them by rounding the tip slightly. The motor is rated at 1750 rpm but I beleive that if you put a large pulley in front it slows it down quite a bit.
I experience no issues with it especially finger burns.

Here is a similar belt sander that I copied from pictures posted in forum way back.
