Thanks and a Follow-Up Question

Thanks to all three of you for your responses. I'm tending to think a couple of kits from Mark Tinsky or Tim West would be money well invested--then maybe it'll be time to get creative. Beginner's Question: Kit or from Scratch?

Greetings, A few days ago I posted a message on the "Buy, Sell, and Trade" forum looking for any used pipemaking tools that might be available for sale. I'm looking to get started without spending too much. So far, no response, so with your permission I'll ask a couple of follow-up questi...

I guess I should have made it clearer that I'm looking to buy some basic pipemaking tools. Please let me know if you have tools that you're not using and that you would consider parting with.

I'm new to all this and am trying to get up and running without spending a fortune.

Thanks,

Tom

Pipemaking Tools Wanted

Greetings,

I'm looking for tools to get me started with pipemaking. I would appreciate a quick email if you have a tenon turning tool, tobacco chamber bits, a mortise/shank-end square, or anything else that might be helpful.

Thanks for your help.

Tom
