Did you use any kind of template or other method or did you just do it by eye? I do understand how a compass coul...

drilling billiards

I realize the bowl should cant a few degrees forward. Is this achieved by drilling the bowl perpendicular to the airway then shaping the bowl to get the cant ... or is the bowl actually drilled at a slight angle wrt to the airway.

Thanks!

Here are a few. You have no idea what you're getting into. McClelland 5100 Red Cake Rattrays: Old Gowrie ...

Tyler, does the RPM rating of the motor matter when used as a variable frequency drive (e.g. 1725 Vs 3450 RPM)?

Thanks.

Thanks guys. My impatience comes from having three pipes I would like to finish that need to be squared with the mortise.
What am I missing? Why not square up the rod stock and the shank area on the block before drilling?

Drills and countersinks

A couple of noob questions. 1) Do you guys use different length tapered drill bits for different length stems (i.e. billiard Vs.Lovat). 1A) Does anyone make custom tapered bits where the diameter Vs. distance can be specified or am I over thinking it? 2) What countersink angle is recommended or typi...
