Best way to rough out a pipe shape

Right now I just used a small wood saw and a dremel tool for the basic shape.
Tomarrow I am working on it with a wood rasp and sand paper.

How do you all start your pipes.


hopefully I can start to get the basic tools here and get a nice small workshop going.

Got my kits today

Well i got 3 of the kits i owdered today from PIMO. I started to rough out the first pipe I am working on. Judging by the Cross grain I am looking at making a nice straight Billard for my first pipe. Right now I am waiting for the stuff to get here. It will be a week or so for the briar and stems.
