I did last night while i started to do the final finish sanding.
I hope to have the pipe sanded to 1000g by the weekend and ready to stain.

its smokes great for me carving it!!! I love working on the pipes and Really understand what a lot of you put into one pipe. its also shows me that you really need to find the right tools to get a pipe to look like you want it to. sadly so far I don't but its gives me something to work at in the fut...

first pipes

Well I finished my first 3 pipes. Well I am working on my 3'rd pipe today and I was thinking about a stain. So far I can't find any quality places with the analine dyes and have not had a chance to order any yet. But I do like the color and taste of my unflavored snuff so my experiment is using denatured alcohol and some powered snu...

Well i tried to find the parts today for one at home depot to no success.

Any one have a parts list or have one that you can sell?

I am going to build a tool like tyler showed.

When i use it how hard do you press and do you have to twist it to remove the briar?

How sharp does the nails have to be?

How hard do you press when you rusticate?

I don't want to crack the bowl.

How sharp do you want the nails?
do you glue them in the pipe fittings?

Thanks I think i got some good idea's now.

I also tried to use a small hole saw tonight.
That seem to work well and I think when i get something like you have in the pics I will be set!

I have a Meer Cigar holder i picked up a few years ago. I am thinking of adding it to a pipe in the future. What is the best way to connect it to the pipe. Do I shape the Shank so that the extenction fits flush to it so that its tight? do I add some type of glue? just trying to get some ideas for th...
