I did last night while i started to do the final finish sanding.
I hope to have the pipe sanded to 1000g by the weekend and ready to stain.

its smokes great for me carving it!!! I love working on the pipes and Really understand what a lot of you put into one pipe. its also shows me that you really need to find the right tools to get a pipe to look like you want it to. sadly so far I don't but its gives me something to work at in the fut...

first pipes
Well I finished my first 3 pipes. Well I am working on my 3'rd pipe today and I was thinking about a stain. So far I can't find any quality places with the analine dyes and have not had a chance to order any yet. But I do like the color and taste of my unflavored snuff so my experiment is using denatured alcohol and some powered snu...

Thanks for the help so far i realy do appreciate it! I was thinking on my next pipe to make it a permanate extention and have the bit sticking out of the meer part. it would be flush up to the shank and have the bit out of the smaller end. I have a Meer Cigar holder i picked up a few years ago. I am thinking of adding it to a pipe in the future. What is the best way to connect it to the pipe.
