Countersinking the Mortise Problem - Help Needed
Good afternoon guys, I would like to ask you for some help if possible. I am using a Drill Press and the Pimo Countersinking tool and when i countersink the mortise i cannot get a smooth finish on the edges of the mortise. The surface appears all dented. What could be the problem? Could i be using a...
Fat Poker
Good afternoon guys, This time i tried a fat poker shape. The drilling is a bit of center and the colour of the wood is a bit lighter on the top of the bowl so i decided to keep this one to myself. http://imageshack.us/a/img834/5050/20121007133431.jpg http://imageshack.us/a/img832/7544/2012100713345...

Barrel
Good evening! I am not having the spare time i wanted and so it took me a while to finish this piece. For this pipe i decided to go for a Barrel form. It is my first humble approach to this form. The briar is from my new supplier in Italy. It has some nice grain and i am happy with it. http://img39....

Help Identifying a Pipe
Good morning,
I found this pipe for sale here in Portugal and i would like some help identifying the brand / artisan.
On the top of the stem, just before the shank, i can see two round dots.
Thank you in advance.

Re: First Pipe - Poker
I just shaped my first couple of pipes yesterday. Best piece of advice I can give you is to buy a 1"x30" belt sander. They're pretty cheap and I did ALL of my rough shaping with one and an 80 grit belt. They take hours off of the handwork and can give you great results. Just did so Edward...
Pipe #3
Good afternoon, Here is my third pipe. For this one i tried a "natural" look with only a black base to highlight the grain. http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/3663/32598166.jpg http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/7489/26805070.jpg http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/5932/23231360.jpg http://img3...
