Re: #021 and #022

Handsome work, both; I especially like the rim on the Cherrywood but I'd love to see a pic of the edge of the rim and how it meets the bark.

Re: #028 Freehand black bamboo sitter

I think this is my favorite of the black bamboo pipes you've just posted. Very nice work, all, but this one just seems to come together more delicately. Congratulations on all your fine pipemaking.

Re: 12-16 Pocano 2

Love the jaunty, kinda primitive shaping and the grain is fabulous but I'd have to be somewhere real tropical to smoke those colors in public. Nicely crafted, it's memorable.

For being stuck with insipid briar, I think you did a masterful job of using it to its fullest. Beautifully done.

Re: #025 Long shank blowfish

The shaping of the stummel is wonderful but I suspect it would look better overall if it were darker, more subdued. Very nice work; congratulations!

Personally, I like them both and would have no trouble being seen with either.

I also admire your pursuit of perfection and look forward to your progress as you dial it in.

Re: #6 and First Hand Cut Stem

The rustication is growing on me but I think it would work better if you toned down the shank a bit. And I'm thinking maybe a little ivory and just a touch of gold would enhance the primitivism. The rim's great; it will be featured even more. I tend to agree the bit could look more comfortable but t...

Re: Yeti Pipe #11- The Gaffer

There are a couple of areas just under the rim that I'd want to take a closer look at but it may just be reflections. I also think the stem could be shinier in general and more delicate where it meets the extension (is that the saddle shoulder?) but it's a real beauty and will make some lucky smoker...

Re: Three Chubby Billiards

They are appealing pipes but I'd have to agree that they would work better if the bowl were as boldly chubby as the shank. I also like the extension and stem design.
