If interested, send me a name and number so I can call with info. I'm going to take a look at in in a few days ...

Morgan came yesterday
Just thought I'd post a pick of our newest Spence. Morgan was born yesterday, 6 lbs. 8 oz. and 20 inches long. My 2 year old ain't sure about him yet, but I guess he will get used to him. Mom and baby are doing fine.

Mahogany Pipe ?
Can Mahogany be used for making a pipe? I picked some up from a local guitar making shop and thought I'd play around with some of it.

Question about Dunhill Night Cap
I bought 1 ounce of Dunhill Night Cap to give a shot and see if I like it. It is very dry, is it supposed to be? I know some tobaccos are supposed to be dry, but this is really dry.

I just got a Savinelli 2320 bowl from ebay. It's in great condition but needs a stem. I have not made a stem yet, so I am looking for somewhere to buy one. Does anyone know where I can buy a pre made or a good used orginal stem? I checked the local pipe repairmen and to have one made I am looking at...

Thanks Trevor. I'll take your word on it. I may play around with it later. I'm getting flakes this week. I know a lot of carvers hate shellac, but so far I like the finish it gives a pipe. I have a friend who is a wood worker, we are going to get together and and play with differant compounds to see...
