Hi all, I would like to try putting sterling silver band on this next pipe that I'm making. I was wondering, if I put band on the pipe during the sanding process, and if I sand silver band along with the shank and stem so they fit perfectla with one another, can I polish it later? yap, lit her yesterday, and it smokes a little bit too hot, we will see after the break in period and gentle smoking how will she behave

yap, there is a gap It was my first, I detached stem from the bawl while sanding on sanding wheel, and sand a little bit what should'nt have been sanded

but color is great, and she will always be remebered as the "FIRST ONE HAND MADE" for me

On Nr.5 I tryied rustication again and I'm very pleased how it turned out. From my perspective, best pipe I've made so far, and I managed to make her in one day. On bottom side of the pipe I've left one small part nonrusticated, hope that stamp will be there one day. Lit her yesterday, Peterson Spec...

No.4 turned out very well, small and light pipe, very well sitter in left
hand. Haven't smoke her yet, i'm hoping it wouldn't burn very hot because of thinner walls on the top of the bawl.
