Man I miss the friday night smokes! I will be back tho, Amy and I have volunteered to help at our local club on friday and saturday nights for fund raising for the holidays , wont be over till the Nov 22 so probably wont see ya'll again til after thanksgiving

do you have a way of measuring it? they usually only come with about a .062 or .093 airway, you want to be closer to .150 I think thats right..LOL 9/32

the premade stem is not finished it is a rough blank, they need drilled to the proper airway diameter, and the button needs to be finished properly, remember while you are sanding the stem shank junction to give the stem a quarter turn every now and then to help keep everything round

Work the briar and not your knuckles , not looking too bad but be careful how much your taking off the bottom of the bowl at the shank junction, or maybe more needs to come off the back of the bowl near the top of the shank junction, or maybe both

I just remembered that at argon they also mentioned that the stamp would be made from magnesium, and they attach a round steel knurled handle to the back, what do you all think about the magnesium? I know in its pure form it is a lot softer than steel
