I'm looking to buy a cheap setup that I can modify easily. I mean really cheap. I was wondering what kind of attachments I can put on a 1/3-1/2 hp motor? sanding wheels? I'd like to buy Kurts setup with arbours, but I'd also like to know if I can put a jacobs chuck on a motor like that and freehand ...

what if... after drilling the tenon, and having the draft hole hit it on the side, plugging the end of the tenon, then drilling/dremeling a small hole in the side of the tenon to meet the draft hole perfectly when the tenon is inserted, therefore the draft hole wouldn't need to be in the bottom cent...

i'm new, as i'm sure the pipe will gladly tell you. this is my second pipe kit. i know the stem is rough, but i was hoping to get some feedback on the general shape of the pipe, and the execution of the stummel. the only tools i have are a dremel and sand paper. i was going for a sort of surfing vol...
