One of my friends got one of these pipe at a yardsale and gave it to me. It was like trying to play the flute somking it. I have no Earthly clue what those slits were or what they did. I got rid of it pronto. You might just screw in a self tapping screw and use it like an "easy-out" to pul...

That is a nice work space you have there. I too like the adjustable shelving. I have a 10'x 10' shed that I am using, but my wife thinks it is for her to store her stuff in so I am running out of room 8) Who am I to argue :dunno:

Sounds like you had a good time. It would have been just as easy to drive by a place like that and never stop and think twice about it. A pipe makes you take the time to think about things. 8)

My first 2 pipes

Here is a freehand I made using a block of briar off ebay and a premade stem. It is kind of heavy but I liked the look of the plateau that I did not want to cut it all away. Hello from the new guy!

Greetings! Just want to introduce myself. Jeff Smith from Florida. I found this site a while ago when I made a freehand pipe, but didn't get around to joining until now. I have made 2 pipes so far and found it to be a rewarding hobby. look forward to talking with yall :thumb:
