Tim Hynick's rustication is bar none, the best rustication I've ever seen. The damned things are dangerous. And i really don't like risticated finishes. But his are just awesome. Prickly and gnarled beyond belief. If you get a chance, check out his pipes.

I'd always thought a paint can shaker might make for an interesting/cheap blaster kinda thing. fill the can with blasting media, toss in stummel, and let her rip for a few hours. Of course, i don't know if those things can run continuously for a few hours, but hey, I'm just an ideas kinda guy.

Stamp schmap! I'll spend my ducets on more briar. I haven't made a pipe good enough to stamp yet, and its been almost 8 years. Maybe more.
