Thanks for your comments guys. I totally agree about the line bottom of shank to stem. The angle of the stem was wrong after I drilled it and I sort of tried to shape it in line instead of bending. Am I the only one that am not able to load the whole thing? For me the site only shows one page, or so, of the tutorial. And I really would like to read this since I bought myself a lathe looking thing the other day...

There is certainly something not quite right with this pipe, I just can't put my finger on it either. It's probably the paneling. Maybe I'll just panel the whole thing....

This was an eye-opener. I need to get better at buffing! Among a lot of other things.... :D I was first about to make this into a rusticated pot but then I saw it had some nice cross grain I wanted to try and use. Well, at least I tried. There are a few things I'm not satisfied with on this pipe but...
