smokingpipes.com visit...

Post by JMG »

I got to visit the smokingpipes.com shop a couple weeks ago. It was pretty great. Even got to see some of the work belonging to a few of the folks that kick around here.

The estate pipe repair room...

Where they take the photos for the website...

They are just little plastic pipes hung for decoration.

Not sure, but that rack was all McClelland so it was one of their blends.

I have been to the store, not in the back. Actually, when I stopped there I had no idea it was the physical home of Smokingpipes.com, it is named differently. The store is, well, unbelievable. I was in Myrtle Beach playing golf and just stumbled across it.

Actually, I think they are real:

I would love to go there myself someday. Thanks for the photos!

I thought they told me they were plastic. I hear things sometimes.

Headed to Charleston for vacation. Will be @ Smoking Pipe on the 30th. Looking forward to the visit, especially shop time with Adam Davidson.

Bruce I found some of your pipes kicked under an old shelf. I had to dust them off, but they look nice, I guess.

Instead of hickory wood, on the grill, I've found my pipes add wonderful flavor to salmon. That's how their best used!
