Extruded acrylic is a far better choice, and less expensive. Delrin doesn't take a shine well, it's very soft, and scratches *very* easily. I have no idea how easily it bends.

Not that Extruded Acrylic is ideal, but it's better than Delrin....

Great stuff for tenons, but I could not imagine making a stem out of it for all the reasons previously stated.
