Skinned a bowling ball for stem turning stock?
yes. you can skin a bowling ball. I started turning the stem a few days ago.... I'll have to post a pic when I'm done.

there lies the bigest problem.......you can get small od stems if you turn em to round taper..... ovals work out ok tho.. as long as you dont need the height over a half inch.Yep, this is something Jody put me on to about a year and a half ago.
