Board Stretchers and Unicorns

Post by kvonk »

Like the ever elusive board stretcher and Unicorn, is there a way to make a big draft hole (button end-5/32") into a 1/16" hole without having to master time travel, first? This error on my first stem; It's Cumberland stock and I like the stem but it's like drawing smoke out of a didgeridoo. Now, I do it correctly; finish w/1/16".

Anywhooooooooooooo. Thanks

Kip,
If I were you, I'd make another stem the right way.

You could TRY heating it up and flattening it out some, squeezing that hole down a little.... no idea how successful it would be but it's theoretically possible.

Catching birds is theoretically possible too, and I understand that the secret is shaking a little salt on their tailfeathers.

Thanks, Sas. I'll try that today. Ya, that bird thing: A bird in hand is a bird that is easier to apply salt to, too. :D
