broke tendon

hi had a guy brought me his pipe to see if i could fix his broke tendon was broke with the broke half in the pipe
i got the piece out can anone give me some advice on fixing it can i just epoxy it back together all help will be great

The pipe will need a new tenon or a new stem. I've never seen an broken tenon that has been glued back together last long.

You should let the doctor do surgery on tendons. But tenons are best repaired by a stem replacement :-)

If keeping existing stem drill it out and glue/insert new tenon either rough end or thread tenon end and stem,apply glue either way you decide to do it. Fit tenon to pipe after glue sets well and you should be done. A very simple explanation but I'm sure someone will fill in around the edges. Good luck!
