One freaking pit

Post by timberwolfer21 »

I'm finishing up a volcano and there is one pit on the top of the shank.

I'm gifting this pipe but I want it to be as perfect as I can make it anyway.

I'd like your opinion as to whether I leave it as is in all its natural pitted glory, or rusticate the last bit of the shank to cover it up?

Appreciate any feedback.

BTW, I still need to put a slight bend in the stem by the bit.

I'd leave it. If you weren't gifting it, I'd just discount the price for a small pit.
