Blowfish "Tommy Udo"

Post by maxmil »

On this occasion, I dedicate the pipe to the film entitled "Kiss of Death" (Kiss of Death), from 1947, directed by Henry Hathaway and played by Victor Mature, Richard Widmark, Brian Donlevy, Coleen Gray and Karl Malden.
Best regards.

Beautiful pipe, Maxmil, but I’m having trouble discerning the blowfish attributes. I generally think of the blowfish as emphazing the straight grain vs. the birdseye with ridges or sharp changes in the contour of the surface. I see that on the left side, but not all the way around.

Beautiful pipe, and a great choice on the movie.

You are quite right, although the norm is not always respected. For example, in this Blowfish by Tood Jhonson:

Best regards.
