Well now...

The wood is not exceptional, but the lines have a strong early-Claudio Cavicchi vibe, and the finish and workmanship look to be excellent.

The tenon might be a bit short---it's hard to tell from the angle of the photo---and there's a "wiggle in the gleam" around 3/16" behind the button in the top view, but other than that there's really nothing much to criticize. Maybe a small amount of slot tilt and a bit of roughness along its bottom edge, but those are only finish details, not something fundamental/hard to correct.

Good job, Doc. 8)

IAWG, though I'm not positive I'd have seen what he pointed out had I not read his comments. I'd be mighty proud were it one of mine.

Thank you, George and Rick.
That wiggle in the gleam line also appears in the 4th photo (the over head shot) confirming your observation.
The tenon is actually about 0.47" which is pretty much in the ball park for my stuff, the photo is fore shortened.
I will work on the bottom of the slot, I didn't see that until I saw the photo.
The only other thing that I caught in the photo was that the rear line of the bowl is flatter than the front. Is that the Claudio Cavicchi vibe?
