Overall dimensions are 2 3/4 x 8 1/8 and it weighs 120 grams. It is not for clenchers. :)

I'm impressed . . . not so much by the size as the work. Lovely.

OT, Rad I can't see your site at home! For some reason your site (including images you linked in this post) times out when I'm looking at it at home. Weird thing is that nothing comes in, the browser window remains empty so it's not like only large items (usually images) time-out so it almost looks like your provider is blocking access somehow. Works fine from work but obviously that's a fat pipe (no pun intended) via different provider as I work for a big Internet auction site. I have a standard broadband connection at home and everything else works perfectly fine. I did a traceroute and it timed out as you can see:

You might want to talk to your hosting service as this might be the case for other international connections as well.

Anyone else outside US having problems?

Big pipe, big hole?

Post by kbadkar »

With a pipe that large, is your airway diameter proportional, like a 1/4" or something? What is the chamber width and depth? How about the mortise diameter & depth? Just curious. I wonder how it will smoke, or is more a display piece?

The mortise is 5/16, and the smoke hole is 9/32.

The Bowl is 7/8 x 2 1/4.

I made it to be smoked. It's for sale on my site.

Is the smoke hole really 9/32"? With a motise of 5/16" that leaves a really thin tenon wall of only 1/64". I'm guessing you meant 5/32", since all other diameters are pretty standard.
