I've never posted anything here before, but I can't resist. This is as much about the photograph as the pipe -- taking pictures like this involves a level of creativity and expertise I certainly don't have.
Taking pictures of pipes demands just as much skill and artistry as making the pipe itself. Unfortunately, it seems to be a completely different kind of artistry, and one that I do not seem to be all that adept at.
Way cool bud. My friend took some gorgeous pictures of my pipes a while back. It really is amazing the difference between an average snapshot and a great photograph.
