Only one this week. I present to you, The Summer Ale.
The stem is synthetic amber, and the photos just don't do it justice. I'm thinking I should experiment with photography a little to capture all the detail in the stem.
Please let me know what you think.

I really like the color stain & stem. The shank ferule looks like the head of a glass of tap ale.

Wow.. nice pipe, Kurt! The name fits it, too. There's a local microbrew here in town called Troeg's. They have a beer called Sunshine Pils and this pipe looks like it would work nicely with that brew.

Kurt,
My compliments on this piece. It is probably the finest pipe that I have ever seen you post here. You should be very proud!

That is indeed a fine looking piece. IMO, this one should be the pinnacle of your work so far.
Although it probably would be even better if you owned a metal lathe.

Thanks guys! Not only was this drilled prior to shaping, but it was shaped entirely (shank included) on a wood lathe.
All kidding aside, I am very proud of this pipe. I seriously could not be more pleased with it. And in 4 days or so, it's new owner will hopefully be sharing that sentiment.
One drawback is that it has now set the bar that much higher for all future works....
(okay, that's not such a bad thing)

Nice tri-color effect.
