Samuel Gawith: Christmas Mixture

Post by tigercasual »

Does anyone know where I can get some Samuel Gawith Christmas Mixture? Everywhere that I have checked seems to be out.

Happy Holidays,
TC

I don't think they made a version this year. I have some from 2007. It's interesting. Not stellar, and not something I would smoke regularly, but the room note is pure Christmas. The flavor hints of cinnamon, clove, and something else I can't quite identify. It's not sweet - but as we've discussed here, my tongue is broken. :)

Is that a shot? You wanna go? Huh? You wanna dance, tough guy? You'll understand better when I bonk you on the noggin with a big rusticated Oom Paul, Tyler.

C'mon, you gotta give me some credit here. That was a GOOD one! I was so proud of my witty retort, I was grinning from ear to ear as I typed.

I thought using a retort with pipes was kind of frowned on?

No, no, no. That's using pipes that look like retorts.

So, could it be said that a pipe,or perhaps its carver, was in fact (Ahem) ... "retorted".

The justforhim.com Christmas blend might make a good alternative. I have been enjoying it and it does smell like Christmas, cloves included.

Thanks Tim, I was just getting ready to put an order in with them, so I'll add that that in.

Cheers,
