First, G&H Rum flake in one of my pipes, then onto Gawith Navy and Chocolate throughout the day, then finished up last night with some Frog Morton's Cellar, all in my own pipes, which, as you say, is the great thing about making pipes! All smoking in my basement shop, re-wired, added 6 double outlets, re-arranged, and began to figure out the Taig I just bought, though I am still kind of stumped re: which tools to effect which cut!

Damn, there is a lot to learn, and I intend to keep on learning through this year! So:

HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!

I had a nice bowl of full virginia flake in my blowfish, and then a big fat maduro cigar and a glass of Fiddich while working on pipes in my shop yesterday. I am pretty happy with the direction things are going. I think I am going to be stoked on these pipes til I put them up here and then... I will be shown all of the mistakes I made and I will gently rock myself to sleep in the fetal position. :)

"but rev, isn't smoking a sin?"

well I suppose if one were to smoke to excess it would be a sin

"but what would be smoking to excess?"

Why smoking two pipes at once of course

I had 15 year old McClelland Oriental No. 14 washed down with some Laphroaig Quarter Cask. It was pretty darn enjoyable.

Mine was homegrown Bitlis straight up. A nice Turkish variety.
