Is white rouge the same stuff as white diamond? can it be used to?

Red rouge will imbed itself into vulcanite, and will not come out.

Thanks for the help guys so white rouge must be out of the picture then where do you guys buy white diamond from does wood craft sell it or homedepot?

You can get red tripoli (which is *not* rouge, and works great) and white diamond, and pretty much what ever you need.

I get all of my compounds from Lee Valley tools look under the Beal Buffing System. You can get 1 pound bars for about 5 bucks. I think this link may get to to what I am talking about. You will want the replacement compounds listed at the bottom of the screen.

For the final buff on my stems, I have been using the tan compound from Grizzly that Pipemaker suggested on this board some time ago. It works amazingly well. Makes my acrylic stems look almost wet they shine so.

Now they pass the magnifying glass test.
