He says if it hasn't been beat up too bad it would make a very nice lathe for pipe making. The paint looks like it was applied with a roller, but aside from that it's difficult to tell from photos. He says that this is an unusually low price for a lathe of this type.

Kurt, this was a very mean thing to post. Now I am going to have to try to explain to my wife why we can't buy groceries for the next couple of months...

Dang, there are some good lathe deals in the Northeast.
