Wood Lathe in Cleveland Area

Post by JHowell »

A friend of a friend is looking to get rid of a large wood lathe, I think the brand name was Blount. I got the impression that it was free to a good home, operable but unused for some time, very solid. That's all I know; if interested please drop me a line and I'll try to hook you up.

J.G. Blount lathes are really, really nice old machines. I saw one built in about 1910 (give or take) that's still in action making wood chips fly. If you're in the area there, and are looking for a solid wood lathe, this one is worth checking out.
