Watchmaker's Lathe

Post by WCannoy »

As promised in the hangout chat, some old photos circa 2000 of turning tenons by hand on my G. Boley watchmaker's lathe.

Hey, all that matters is it worked. :D

I assume you don't use it anymore? Did it make high quality tenons and could you use it to cut down the rod stock to a smaller diameter? In other words, was it useful for shaping the whole stem, not just tenons? Could you drill with it? I assume not from what I saw.
