I took a look at their page and could not find a single word about where they were made, although they did mention that all lathes were tested by trained German technicians. I've got a number of German and Austrian built tools in my shop, and I would venture to guess that at those prices, these machines are not built anywhere close to Germany, regardless of which bloc the factory used to reside.

ETA: I see George already made the same point. :wink:

Still sitting at 5 though I think I might get rid of one of them or at least re-purpose it.
