Do I need tower jaws?

I ordered a Oneway scroll chuck and was wondering if I have to get the tower jaws to avoid a head injury or are the included jaws "good enough"?

The regular jaws should work, though they will limit you to smaller shapes and angles, since there isn't enough jaw to grip a block, say on the corner. If you want tower jaws, I have two I'm not using. They come with 4, but you only need two. Send me a PM and we can work out details.

Otherwise, you can buy jaws from Steve. His contact info is here on the forum. Just search for it. He makes aluminum jaws to fit the one way chuck and they are reasonably priced. I'm going to order myself a set of those soon.

Tower jaws will go to the first one who writes. Since you only need two and they come in fours, chances are you can go in with someone and cut the price in half. I have a line out for smokindawgs set and look forward to trying them out.
