Craftsman 109 lathes

Post by notow1 »

Okay, I won the auction on ebay for 2 109 lathes. One is complete with motor, the other is supposed to be in good shape but without a motor. Does anyone have some advice as to what I should look for that could make this a bad deal when I pick them up? The total price for both is $290.00 so I think I should be alright. I am hoping that this size lathe is good for stem making. Thanks for any advice, Norm.

Give me a call Norm (number is on my website), I just restored one and have a guy who makes a few of the parts. I saw that lot on Ebay and was tempted to get them myself.
Am I Calamity Jane or Annie Oakley??...depends on the day.
