Newark (NY) Pipe Show in NJ 3/19/2013

Post by Vermont Freehand »

Anyone ever go to this one, or is anyone going this year?
I'm considering going to sell briar and pipe kits, it would be a good spot for many of my customers to meet me.
It's close to me, and darn close to many of my customers.
Your thoughts on this pipe show?

I had a blast at the New York pipe show. It was the closest one to me and was my first pipe show. Though it is on the small side (50 or so tables), it was a great venue and a great crowd. It was very nice to finally meet so many people that I've either met on the forum, or have been in touch only via email. I didn't bring any of my pipes this year, just supplies for others, but maybe next show I'll add some pipes to the table.

Glad to hear it! I've heard a few reviews of the show and it sounds like everyone had a great time.

Hi Steve.
Good to hear that you made it. Too far for me...hell, even Chi is a long walk, but it's looking like a show that will grow. Suppliers is something that we (*I*) would love to see at the St. Louis show....maybe next year? Would be great to hand select a few blocks and look over some of your other offerings. And by all means bring your own work!!!
