More tampers...

We all make stuff other than pipes, so here's a place where "anything goes" as far as showing off some of your projects and other hobbies.

More tampers...

Post by JMG »

Couple tampers I made yesterday. Both with orange/black cumberland, but one with a PNG croc's tooth and the other with an ordinary pick and some sort of wood I had in my pile that sandblasted well (no idea what kind.)

Very nice. The sand blasted wood is an interesting finish. It would be good to find out what kind of wood it is.
The crocs tooth is going to be irreplaceable and a keeper, I think.

Wow, nice tamps!
The Ebonite looks great, and that blasted wood is intriquing. Will have to experiment in my shop...
