OneLief

Post by Onelief »

Real name: Dave Gnose
Age: 49
Location: Phoenix
Years a pipe smoker: Just started again after 30 years of cigarettes, chewing tobacco and vaping.
How you got into pipe making: Loved pipes since I was 13. There was a Tinder Box in the mall my parents had a bakery in. I used to spend hours there looking at the pipes and smelling the tobacco. I practically memorized Hacker's "The Ultimate Pipe Book". When I dug out all my pipes and started smoking them again, I decided to try making pipes.
Other interesting facts: Ex-Army Infantryman. Former Tomb Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Solder in Arlington National Cemetery. Spent the rest of my life selling something.

Welcome. Ex Army here.
Where did you grow up? There is a little mall right across the way from me that has had a bakery and a Tinderbox.

Welcome! Had a double take with your avatar name: in Afrikaans (my language), lief means love.
Suppose it works both ways now; one life and one love!
